	Ameristar Casino Berger Devine Yaeger, Inc. was retained by Ameristar Casinos as Architect-of-Record for a new Entertainment Center facility in St. Charles, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. BDY was responsible for managing and coordinating the work of over a dozen interior designers and consultants around the country through a total design and construction period of only thirteen months. The 220,000 SF facility, constructed on elevated piers over the banks of the Missouri River, has five themed restaurants. The facility also includes a blues club and bar, cocktail lounge, gift shop, video arcade, and VIP lounge. The various venues are connected to the casino by a themed "streetscape" concourse, based on the architectural character of the mid 19th-century downtown St. Charles historic district.
